Kato Argaka being the new community. The Argakan community is characterized as scarcely built. The cause of this is due to the split of the community by the river. Other reasons are that Argaka is built on a slope and the river passing through it. Kato Argaka is built near the sea but Pano Argaka is built on a slope that provides a magnificent view from the villas towards the sea.

Amongst other things to do and see are also the Argaka Nature Trail, in the Paphos Forest District, and the Argaka Dam to the southeast of the Argaka community.

There are also a number of quiet villages located not far from the villas that are worth visiting if one is into mingling with and getting to know the locals and local history. These villages are The Pano Panagia Village, The Anarita Village, and The Pentalia Village.
