We had a lovely stay at Villa Dimitris - we loved the location and the villa itself was clean and comfortable and great for relaxing around the pool or watching the sunrise and sunset from the roof terrace. The cleaning service was excellent and the wifi and air conditioning worked well. We also liked the beach and restaurants at Kalyves nearby. Communication from time of booking and clear directions to the villa helped get our holiday off to a really good start. Villa Dimitris is set a a peaceful olive grove, a short distance from the town of Kalyves where there is a wide range of shops and restaurants catering for everyones needs. The villa was well equipped, and we especially liked the options of different seating areas which were well furnished for outdoor living at different times of the day. Having been to Crete several times now we didnt feel the need to go out exploring, just put our feet up, relaxed, and made use of the super pool. A lovely, secluded villa perfect for relaxation and privacy. The village, with plenty of restaurants/tavernas took about 30 minutes to walk but that was fine, not too hilly, and we got a taxi back! I would say that whilst a car is not necessarily essential I would highly recommend it as although the nearest supermarket is only a few minutes by car, it would be a long walk with wine and water.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable, restful time. I guess that we are not typical clients in that we hardly do any exploring as we come to rest and relax and that is exactly what we did!! The villa gave us everything that we required. Quiet. Lovely well maintained garden. Nice clean well maintained swimming pool that was a sensible depth for the whole length. Sowohl der Service von Beach Villas als auch die Betreuung vor Ort sind klasse. Pool Reinigung, Zwischenreinigung der Zimmer, Handtuchwechsel, sogar gespA?lt wurde, damit hatten wir nicht gerechnet und ist unA?blich bei Ferienhausurlaub. So etwas hatten wir bisher noch bei keinem Anbieter. Kurz gesagt: es war perfekt.

The location of the villa is its greatest asset looking towards the White mountains. It has superb outside spaces which are lovingly maintained and is very private. Inside the living areas were spacious. We were very happy here. This area of western Crete was a lovely surprise and despite quite mixed weather we had a great holiday with several lovely walks and outings.
